Download REISEI 1.0.1

Before you download

REISEI requires macOS 14.0 or later on Apple Silicon, meaning M1 and later. Intel Macs are not supported, and a Windows version is planned but has no date yet. The installer is signed and notarised by Apple, so it opens without warnings.

If you already own REISEI

Install over the top. Your licence carries across, and there is no need to deactivate first. Updates within the 1.x line are included with your licence.

If you are trying it out

The trial runs for fourteen days, fully unrestricted, on your own work. It reaches us once when it starts and runs offline after that. When it ends, audio keeps passing through unchanged and your sessions stay openable.

Version history

Every REISEI release, and what changed in it. Each entry says up front whether the audio processing changed, because that is the first thing worth knowing.

1.0.1 August 2026

No change to the audio processing. Every fix below is in the interface, and projects saved with 1.0.0 open unchanged, with the same settings and the same sound.

The gain-reduction meter did not move when the master limiter was set to SMOOTH. The limiter itself was working. Only the meter was reading from the wrong place.

SOLO could monitor the wrong control, or fail to engage at all, across several handles on the analyser. It now follows what you actually grabbed, and it releases properly if the window is closed mid-drag.

In the IMAGE VIEW, the band handles stayed visible in ELLIPTIC, where the band is not used, and they stopped at 20 Hz elsewhere. They are now hidden in ELLIPTIC, so the band cannot be edited or soloed in that mode, and your band setting is kept for when you leave it. Everywhere else they reach the full range down to 5 Hz, matching the controls in the WIDE panel.

Typing a value into the saturator's DRIVE snapped it to the minimum while a clipper model was selected.

A button press was hard to see against the dark panel, and the bottom row of monitor controls could fall off the screen at the largest interface size.

A few retired controls were still listed in the host's automation panel. They did nothing and are now hidden. Automation lanes and mode numbers are unchanged, so existing projects are unaffected.
