ONRIAUDIO

TERMS

The terms,
in plain language.

These are the terms for buying from ONRI Audio. The software itself is covered by the licence agreement included with the download; this page is about the purchase, and it is written to be read rather than skipped.

Who you are buying from

ONRI Audio is an independent audio software developer based in Japan. Payment, invoicing and licence delivery are handled by Lemon Squeezy, who act as the merchant of record — they are the seller on your receipt and the party responsible for tax collection.

What you are buying

A licence to use the software, not the software itself. One licence covers three machines at a time, and you can move between machines yourself: deactivate inside the plug-in on the old one, then activate the new one. A licence is for you or your organisation. You may pass it on to another person once the waiting period below has passed; what you may not do is buy licences in order to resell them as a business.

Updates

Updates within the version line are free. A 1.0 licence covers every 1.x release. A future major version may be a separate purchase; if it is, that will be stated clearly and existing owners will be told first.

Activation, and running offline

Activation contacts our server once. After that the plug-in runs offline indefinitely — there are no checks during a session and nothing stops working in a studio without a network. A licence is only ever invalidated by an explicit action: a refund, a chargeback, or deactivation from another machine.

The trial

Fourteen days, fully functional, no feature limits and no interruptions. It runs once per machine. When it ends, audio continues to pass through unchanged and your sessions and settings are preserved — a project containing REISEI never becomes un-openable. If something genuinely got in the way of your trial, write to us and we will reset it.

Refunds

The trial is unrestricted precisely so that nobody has to buy blind, so purchases are generally final. That said: if the software will not run correctly on a supported system and we cannot resolve it, write to [email protected] and we will sort it out. We would rather refund you than keep money from someone the product did not serve.

EU and UK withdrawal rights

Buyers in the EU and UK keep their statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of purchase, unless the download has already begun with your consent. Nothing on this page removes a right the law gives you.

Transferring a licence

You may transfer your licence to another person 90 days after purchase. The wait exists because a refund or a card chargeback can be raised long after a sale, and a licence should not change hands while it can still be reversed. Deactivate all your machines first, then contact [email protected] with the new owner's email address and we will move the key across. A transfer takes effect only once it is registered with us; an unregistered handover leaves the key with the original owner. Licences that have been refunded or charged back cannot be transferred and are void, and review (NFR) licences are not transferable. Buying licences in order to resell them as a business is not permitted. Nothing here removes a right the law gives you.

Check the system requirements

REISEI 1.0 requires macOS 14.0 or later on Apple Silicon (M1 and later). Intel Macs are not supported. Please confirm your system before buying — and if you bought by mistake, tell us and we will refund you rather than argue about it.

The software licence itself

Use of the software is governed by the End User Licence Agreement included with the download. Where this page and that agreement cover the same ground, the licence agreement is the operative document for how the software may be used.

Warranty and liability

The software is provided as it is. Every build is checked against an automated test suite and passes Apple's validation before release, but no software is guaranteed to be free of defects, and we cannot accept liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

Support, and changes

Support is by email at [email protected], from the person who wrote the software. If these terms change, the date below changes; the terms that applied when you bought are the ones that govern your purchase.

Governed by the laws of Japan, without affecting consumer protections in your own country.
